The Equanimous Life
Cultivating greater equanimity in your life, as it makes you happier, also has a wonderful calming effect on those close to you and those you interact with on a daily basis. It also gives you more time to focus on things that matter rather than spinning your wheels over things that in hindsight, often don't matter that much.
How much equanimity do you have in your life?
Each of the following questions will give you a sense of areas in your life where you may or may not be living in an equanimous place. A place of equanimity is not absolute and you may find some answers may depend on the situation or circumstances or may apply on some days and not others. This is fine. The questions are to serve as a guide, not a diagnosis.
Answer honestly, and then decide if you could use a little more equanimity in your life.
