Michael grew up in Australia, where he worked as a social scientist and professor in the fields of personal and organizational change. In 1984 he relocated to the U.S, where his studies of the effectiveness of yoga and Eastern practices ultimately led him to pursue yoga therapy. He is the author of "Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapyā€”Bridge from Body to Soul" and "Turn Stress Into Bliss." Michael is an inaugural member of the Global Consortium on Yoga Therapy and presents at conferences worldwide.
